In Aug, trade data of the Belt and Road

In August, exports to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" fell back, and the cumulative exports from Jan to Aug increased slightly year-on-year.

 

In August, China exported US $13.51 billion of textile and clothing to 152 "the Belt and Road" countries, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%. Among them, exports to Russia amounted to 630 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 4.3%. 

Exports to Kazakhstan amounted to 580 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 25.1%. 

Exports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to 730 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 41%; Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 12.6%.

In addition, China's exports to Saudi Arabia decreased by 8.1%, while exports to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Iraq increased by 2.3%, 22.5%, and 22%, respectively.


From January to August, China exported 105.87 billion dollars of textile and clothing to the "the Belt and Road" co construction countries, a slight increase of 0.2% year on year. The "the Belt and Road" market accounted for about 53.5% of China's exports
